Serving in Winter
The the cold, winter months are here. For the homeless and hurting these are the tough times, and the Mission wants to be there to help.
With 37 years experience, we at the Rescue Mission know that Thanksgiving, and the coming cold season, can take us by storm if we don't start preparing now.
This winter we expect to serve more than 27,000 meals and provide over 1,200 family food boxes to Utah's neediest people. We are also expecting to see a surge in the demand for shelter and recovery services as people realize they no longer want to live on the streets and need help for a better life. As you can see we have a lot to get ready for. Just 97 cents will help feed one tired, hungry person.
Please donate this fall as we reach out to the huge numbers that will need food, shelter and clothing this year. Besides giving money, you can also see our page under the "our needs" tab detailing how you can conduct a clothing drive at your workplace or church.
